The gas spring is a self-contained system filled with pressurized nitrogen gas. Oil is used for damping. The extension and retraction speed is determined by the throttle opening on the piston. The gas spring has a length of 280 mm. The diameter of the pressure tube is 28 mm and the piston rod is 14 mm. At both ends, the gas spring has a threaded connection with an M10 thread.
